Yad Ezer La-Haver foundation was founded in the year 2001, when the background to its establishment was the difficult social and economic situation in the country. The foundation runs a 'Warm Home' for Holocaust survivors, soup kitchens for needy families and children at risk. As a rule the foundation strives to help every person in distress who turns to them, and not to turn away any empty-handed person.
