Dear friends, Shana Tova – Happy Jewish New Year to All !
At the start of the Jewish new year, traditionally we sum up the past year and What a Year this has been ! From the bottom of my heart, I would like to thank all the angels who accompanied me all the way throughout the year and were always there for those in need. Thank you all for your extensive volunteer and social activities for Holocaust survivors.
I am proud and delighted to announce here and now that the elect Person of the Year 2020 for Yad Ezer L'Haver and me is none other than my dear friend Dr. Jürgen Bühler, President of the International Christian Embassy in Jerusalem and his wonderful team.
I have known Jürgen Bühler for many years. Jürgen is an evangelist with a great love for Israel, forever investing his heart and soul towards one sacred and noble goal, to put a smile on the faces of Holocaust survivors … So now is the moment to say – Thank You Jürgen! Huge thanks to you Jürgen Bühler, a dynamic man with a big heart, faith, courage and endless amounts of compassion. So few are those like you, who labor tirelessly and without profit, just to give hope, to offer aid and support to those who have almost lost faith in these difficult times of the corona pandemic in Israel.
Thank you, dear Jürgen, for your contribution and generosity to the Holocaust survivors of the organization and the community in general. Thank you for all the blessed work you do for the Holocaust survivors, residents of the "Loving Community for Holocaust Survivors" of our organization since its establishment. Our sincere thanks to all your volunteers who come from abroad and help us 24 hours a day. Thank you, Jürgen, for the smile you put on the faces of the Holocaust survivors, thank you for their tears of joy and hope and thank you for who you are!
May God continue to look down on you and bless you, cherish you and keep you safe, fulfill all your heart's desires and reward you for your many years of contribution and generosity of heart. The State of Israel needs many more people like you … I wish you many more years of fruitful activity… You shall always have a warm place in our hearts. We are happy to have met such a charming, amazing and wonderful person like you! We love you Jürgen, in my name and in the name of all the Holocaust survivors of the "Yad Ezer L'Haver" organization, we shall always hold you in our hearts!
